STARGAZER DECEMBER OVERVIEW – VENUS IN SCORPIO: INTO THE CHASM

Mercury goes into shadow on December 20th, on a conjunction to Pluto at 14 Cap. This will be one of the predominant themes of the upcoming retrograde cycle (January 6 – 26) and matters that enter negotiations now will experience modifications through January 31. Events and conversations today will signal the beginning of this process. Mercury with Pluto adds intensification to our thinking, and suggests much is going on in secret, perhaps even subversively. With Venus in Scorpio adding allure to that which is hidden and mysterious, this particular cycle is about depth and reaching far beyond the shallow artifices of the material realm.

Saturn in Scorpio brought a profound appraisal of intimacy and sexuality and taught us the value of the connections and the commitments we make with others. The message was not to take them lightly, nor take them for granted. With Saturn having moved on and this the first transit of Venus since, we are given the opportunity to build on these lessons and now cultivate a more passionate bond with our lover, spouse or mate. There is the potential of healing now through intimacy as well as the relationships through which we experience them. The transformational power of love is heightened and the experiences we have through sexual relationships brings us into a direct confrontation with the depths of our very being. A significant catharsis occurs now. Venus trine Neptune, Venus sextile Pluto and Jupiter as well as Venus trine Chiron (Dec. 20th- 17 Scorpio/Pisces) transits stimulate a very potent ambience for cultivating deeply meaningful romantic bonds.

Sagittarius Sun and Libra Mars continue to bestow a very optimistic and generous social ambience. The mood is upbeat and outgoing. The New Moon on the 11th portends a very beneficial but likely unanticipated event. Connections to Mars (sextile) and Uranus (in opposition) indicate an opportunity timing back to an innovative project we began around March 11th when Mars – Uranus conjoined at 14 Aries. There are some really stimulating and electrifying currents to be sure. Mars square Pluto earlier in the week suggests there are some obstacles to overcome, and even a confrontation with very obstinate and oppositional forces. We may find we have the courage or conviction to fight against the restrictions we have been living with and stand up for ourselves.

Sun (Dec. 19) and Mercury (Dec. 8) square to the Nodes signals a need to reorient ourselves to the evolutionary intent of North Node in Virgo. We got clues to these changes in March and September during the eclipses. Because we don’t know what the future looks like yet, we likely experience this more as a reminder of what we must release and let go of to get there. Although these transits can be some what painful, (letting go is always tough!) the awareness stimulated now is very useful, allowing us to check in with ourselves and see where we are headed. Intuition is strong during these transits and much can be learned from engaging the sensitivity we encounter.

Uranus goes direct on the 26th, bringing the forces of liberation back into the midst. For 12 days ONLY (Jupiter goes retrograde on January 8th,) ALL THE PLANETS are direct!

ARIES – You continue to devote your energy to a partnership, and intimacy can deepen in this phase for you and your love interest. A great deal of passionate energy is surfacing in a close relationship, though this can be a period of friction if you don’t see eye to eye. Work, business and finance continue to be significant topics, with much due to percolate for you around New Years in your professional sphere. 2016 – 2017 will be about moving towards a new plateau in your career, and returning to college, travel or teaching may be in the works over the coming months so that you may prepare yourself for the professional role you will soon be undertaking. A great deal of commitment is involved, but the rewards are enormous if you stay the course. 2015 managed to settle a great deal of relational issues for you, and you have hopefully had some truly magical and loving moments with someone you can hold dear to you as you move into the future.

TAURUS – Romance and revelry will be on your mind throughout December: the 11th and 24th feature the most auspicious alinements you can possibly get as a relationship deepens and converges harmoniously. The Full Moon collaborates here and your heart will feel quite at ease as the year comes to an end.

STARGAZER FORECAST NOVEMBER 2015

TANGENT NEPTUNE: UNDER THE INFLUENCE

The first week of the month bustles with activity, a pragmatic, but passionate energy is prevalent as Sun transits Scorpio and Venus, Mars and Jupiter continue through Virgo. This is a great time to take action on projects that require organization and attention to detail, as we’ll feel very productive in the days leading up to the compelling New Moon in Scorpio, November 11th. The New Moon connects intimately with the Jupiter – Pluto trine, and has powerful, expansive overtones. Meanwhile, brash Uranus in Aries forms a strange alinement called a Yod impacting the 17’ Aries/Libra midpoint. It seems whatever begins now does so quite suddenly or in a very unexpected way. There may be an astonishing opportunity to engage an innovative new course of activity. For clues think back to what was initiated last March – April. Both the Sun and Jupiter form their exact, individual quincunxes to Uranus in the days leading up to the New Moon, so news may come in on the 5th or 9th that requires swift thinking or decision making. The pace is very brisk and in some cases news or events will be somewhat startling! Get as much of the organizing and nitty gritty detail oriented stuff done as possible during the first week. Venus and Mars move into airy Libra in the second week and the ambience will become quite social, and less work oriented, unless you work in the arts, that is!

Venus from Libra makes several key aspects this month, and lovers and partners will be connecting passionately (Venus conjunct Mars) and making binding commitments (Venus sextile Saturn) in this phase. More disruptive influences (square Pluto/opposite Uranus) suggest reappraisal of these commitments and can potentially signal endings for some. The dynamics these aspects bring on can be destabilizing, but are really just meant to test to durability of our bonds. Venus – Pluto signifies a turning point that will transform a relationship, it will either deepen in intimacy or falter. The Uranus connection can be quite exhilarating. Time to try something new, maybe with someone new? Electrical and impulsive forces will be at work. It’s an exciting month for love! With Venus in play, the areas of love and finance are the foremost indicated, but looking to see the house in your chart Venus is ruler of will also reveal clues as to where you might experience activity at these times.

The Sun – Mercury cycle begins on the 17th from 24 Scorpio. It is from here we set the agenda of our daily activities for the next 4 months. This thrust of our communications will endure and see modification during the next Mercury retrograde phase (January 2016). (I will be including a deeper analysis and guidelines for using the Sun – Mercury cycles in my 2016 report.)

The Neptune – Saturn square forms exact this month, it’s possible the curtain rises on an inconvenient truth, shattering an illusion that we have for too long turned a blind eye to. This is an undertone that will affect us for the coming year, with the third, final aspect occurring (due to the retrograde periods) September 2016. Neptune energy can be quite elusive and evasive, though the reasons for this are actually far more complex than one might realize, and can be rooted in deep feelings of inadequacy or shrouded in such intensified idealism that it makes it impossible to settle for anything that exists in the ordinary world. Neptune far prefers the fantasy to the reality and would much rather create the perfect a scene in the imagination than to deal with the real flesh, blood and potential imperfections a confrontation in meatspace might reveal. This can be especially pernicious in relationships where we might keep our partner at a safe distance, just far enough away to not have to observe what might be undesirable characteristics while indulging perpetually in fantasy about the circumstances, padding the details with what we fancy rather than what’s real. This applies to any area in which Neptune is operating in your chart right now (read for your ascendant for the dirty details). There can be some anxiety accompanying this transit where we realize we have deluded ourselves about circumstances or individuals we had chosen to perceive as faultless. Beneath that gauzy and alluring veneer, we begin to see the cracks, and the extent to which this illusion has been perpetuated, the harder it will be to ultimately accept this reality.

Saturn, on the other hand is only about what’s real, and has a reputation for being tough or harsh, particularly where our deepest sense of idealism would seek to prevail. The interaction of these two, will thus be problematic where we have entertained an illusion rather than the truth. Neptune seeks to release and let everything go. Saturn is about taking responsibility and administrating over the environment in which it finds itself. Whereas Neptune represents a situation we may have idealized, Saturn is about getting serious and with these two acting upon each other some friction where we must acknowledge the distinction between fact and fiction. Neptune represents the ability to transcend, whereas Saturn tends to be the work and obligation that we are trying to transcend. It’s easy to knock Saturn, but keep in mind, it is this planet that offers security, stability and maturity. The themes of “getting real” and accepting and setting some boundaries becomes important over the coming year. In several ways, seeing the reality of a situation and removing some of the fuzzy edges from our vision can be a really positive adjustment. By acknowledging the truth of what is and what is not yet, we can get to work on materializing the vision Neptune is providing when reality comes up short.

It’s also possible something really quite lovely is emerging, that serendipity has brought forth an extraordinary and beautiful circumstance, though perhaps it is not yet tenable within your life structure. In this case this aspect will challenge you to confront this now and throughout next year to build a structure that will be supportive to this. There is the potential that the desire to obtain the divine and etherial essence Neptune is expressing for us individually will drive us to overcome a major obstacle. In this way the theme over the next 10 months can be be making the unreal or impossible into the real.

The vast reorganization required from now through next September likely stems back to circumstances that had coalesced in mid 2013. Jupiter/Cancer, Saturn/Scorpio and Neptune/Pisces sat in a comfortable trine, and developments during this period were easy to make and lent to a positive and stable emotional ambience. The the test now is to rearrange our lives around all that has happened since, to take what was learned from the highly introspective and cathartic Saturn – Scorpio phase and turn it out into the world at large. The original conjunction occurred in 1989, (if you can remember that far back, 😉 ) so something that began for you personally in that period is being triggered. To the extent we have not lived up to the visionary desires of Neptune, this period can be one of getting it together and going for it. A square aspect provides tension and frustration, but this energy creates the friction necessary to stimulate us to take action. Saturn in Sagittarius is a diamond tipped arrow, the issue with Saturn in the apex of the Nodal T-square is where you need to set your target. From November 12, 2015, that target is where Virgo (transiting North Node) lies within your chart.

As Saturn works upon Neptune, so does Neptune’s dissolving qualities affect Saturn, and it’s ability to build in concrete terms. Over the next year or so, it’s possible to feel a pervasive sense of futility in trying to organize the affairs of the house being transited by Saturn as well as in life in general. There may be an existential crisis at a very quiet, subjective level transpiring over the course of this transit, a niggling sense of “why bother?” that may hinder our undertakings. This will become most critical as Saturn squares the Nodal Axis next year, and when the South Node conjuncts Neptune in late October – early November 2016.

Unlike, say, a disruptive Uranus influence, the quality of energy expressed by a Saturn – Neptune combination is slow and pervasive. It’s unlikely a single event will send your life spiraling into disarray, rather expect a process to unfold over the next year which will require an appraisal of both the long range goals (Saturn) and the vision-inspiration-intuition (Neptune) which could provide a challenging balance act. The final aspect occurs September 10th, 2016 so it’s from here we will see some relief and resolution, though the South Node conjunction to Neptune aspect that follows in November next year indicates the need to release a heavy burden related to the Neptune issue. This can be quite cathartic, actually, especially where the negative attributes of Neptune (addiction, illusion, dissipation) are being eradicated. In the event we fought to preserve an ideal state, we may be very disappointed over what we fought for, particularly if we learn this was bull shit all along. In this way the Saturn square is very useful and instructive, it points us to our potential blind spots and gives us time reconcile our issues prior to the South Node transit, which will be far more brutal if we let those Neptune issues slide too far out of control.

This New Moon connects powerfully to Jupiter and Pluto and you may be getting money to start a new business venture or increase the operations of an existing one at this time. The 10th and 17th are suited for conversations relating to money and making financial plans. Releasing a subconscious pattern of behavior is possible now and should be attended to, particularly if addiction or dependency is implicated.

TAURUS: A close relationship may be coming into focus, and the New Moon in Scorpio on the 11th is the ideal time to meet someone with incredible potential or make a commitment. Venus and Mars combine in your house of True Romance on November 1st, and an enticing affair may escalate quickly. The emphasis shifts to work in second half, and the final week of the month sees you in a hard working to burn out phase. Easy does it! You can really crash around the 20th or 23rd if you push yourself too hard. Assignments will be abundant and tap your natural creativity. The 24th sees a more moderated pace. Saturn – Neptune can speak to a dilemma in an intimate relationship. A casual attitude towards your lover or commitments to friends, networks or an organization may be inhibiting the cultivation of depth in your closest commitment.

A fresh perspective on life is possible and augmented by very positive vibrations in your domestic and personal life at this time. Here as well, the challenges of the Eclipses subside to offer a brighter and better future. Issues may get a bit hairy on the 20th or 23rd, not all the dust has settled yet. Saturn square Neptune on the 26th may see you seriously contemplating if not abandoning a concept related to education, publishing or broadcasting that has proven too elusive to realize. It’s not impossible to make this thing happen, but does require extensive modification if you continue to try for it. This ties back to events or awareness that stem back to Summer of 2013. Success is still possible, but there will be a challenge to overcome in this period.

LEO: A really positive new era begins in regard to your personal life and home is featured around the time of the Scorpio New Moon on the 11th. This ties right into the positive financial upswing you’ve experienced since August. A new job and increased earnings very likely makes a residential move possible at this time. A hard working phase comes to conclusion by mid – month, allowing for social developments and good times with friends, sibling and neighbors, with whom you wish to share in your good fortune. A Full Moon on the 25th is wonderful for attending a social event or party. A Venus – Mars conjunction on the 1st is good for making a purchase or setting new financial goals. You may splash out and show a loved one a fabulous time or purchase an expensive gift. Mercury keeps you busy with domestic matters through the 20th. After that you seek out avenues for self expression and pleasurable experiences. You can meet a compelling love interest in this phase, with a particularly interesting, if not unexpected twist around the 23rd. A harsh reality check on the 26th regarding a debt, other peoples money or disillusionment in an intimate relationship is a possibility unless you (and the one you have chosen) have been completely honest in all your undertakings. If not, extensive modification will be required to remedy a challenging situation.

VIRGO: Communication is featured this month as the Sun and Mercury light up the area of chart associated with day to day life and sharing information. Social activities and correspondence are very favorable at this time. With Mars still in your sign, your words have strength and conviction. You can make quite an impression when Venus and Mars conjunct in your sign on the 2nd, most likely on a potential partner, if you choose to. The New Moon is Scorpio heralds a new lifestyle, and the pace of life becomes brisk and exciting from this time onward. Venus (November 9th) and Mars (November 13th) turn your attention towards earnings, perhaps through a creative discipline or in a field related to beauty, luxury or leisure. A Full Moon on the 25th highlights a significant professional achievement, making you visible if not sought after in your industry. The 26th can reveal a contentious situation at home or with a spouse or partner. One is just not serving the other, and you may even learn of a deception in regard to your property at the hands of another. This is an extreme example, but you should be prepared for all manner of unusual things to emerge in this period. It’s possible your residence is somehow hindering your desire to make a deeper commitment within partnership. Love has fated overtones from the 11th, the eclipses this year gave clues to this. Your’ rapidly evolving sense of identity plays a major role in the kind of person you see yourself with: as the mirror of your self image is changing, so too will the image you seek to convey through your relationship.

LIBRA: A massive financial opportunity is revealed during the New Moon in Scorpio on the 11th. The trials and tribulations you confronted during the Saturn transit of this area in 2013 – 2014 may turn up an extraordinary source of income at this time. Pluto and Jupiter positively augment developments, offering a really powerful and dynamic source of prosperity. Crucial conversations or activity on the 17th pave the way. It’s a possibility your home is in some way connected, or the financial upswing you experience at this time allows for a really positive residential upgrade. A partnership is implicated in some way. Expect the unexpected during the first week. A super sexy behind the scenes love mojo is triggered when Venus and Mars harmonize on the 2nd, indicating a sultry-secret rendezvous. Fantasy fulfillment is possible. Venus (November 9th) and Mars (November 13th) in your sign see you at the very top of your game. These transits are much more satisfying this go around – last year saw the harsh auspices of the Cardinal Cross wreak havoc on your plans. Now you have been fortified, you can use this energy to far more productive ends. See, be seen and enjoy the positive social vibrations of the Gemini Full Moon on the 25th. Venus makes uncomfortable aspects on the 14th, 23rd and 24th, so these are not your best days though a partner may bring a fun surprise your way on the 23rd.

SCORPIO: A true love connection can be made on the 2nd, when Venus and Mars combine, activating very positive interactions. You can really connect with someone through shared hopes, wishes and dreams. A phenomenal New Moon in your sign on the 11th taps into the Jupiter – Pluto trine, ensuring your success for the upcoming year. This marvelous influence is augmented by very profitable developments associated with your career on the 10th and 13th. From the second half, you’ll prefer privacy and withdrawal. Venus (Nov. 9th) and Mars (Nov. 13th) transit Libra, suggesting retreat and a period of reflection. Your imagination and intuition will be strong in this phase, and you are likely cooking up some new strategies for the upcoming year. The 17th is very positive for journaling your experiences and expressing your wishes with clarity. Issues associated with your creative expression, a relationship within a love affair or with a child can be experienced around the 26th, when a very challenging angle between Saturn (in the area of values and resources) and Neptune (self expression, true romance and children) issues an uncomfortable ultimatum directly implicating your personal affairs. It’s possible financial hardships you are contending with are hindering your love relationship or desire towards creative self expression, even having children. Use your heart’s desire as motivation to get your financials in order. A revealing tip on the 13th can point you in the right direction.

SAGITTARIUS: Venus and Mars conjoin on the 1st to set you up for a huge breakthrough in your profession. There may be a bit going on behind the scenes this month, a New Moon on the 11th impacts your house of seclusion and privacy, tapping into the dynamic energy flow of the Jupiter – Pluto trine. You conduct your affairs effectively far from the public eye at this time. The 9th, 10th and 13th are beneficial for negotiations and implementing strategies that have a secretive undertone. Social life on the other hand will be quite vibrant, with many exciting invitations and events coming your way as Venus (Nov. 9th) and Mars (Nov. 13th) enter Libra, stimulating connectivity with others. A Full Moon on the 25th brings a culminating moment in a partnership. A challenging t-square formation at this time sees your energy being scattered in many directions, and this development could very well push you over the edge if you are not careful. Saturn and Neptune are applying in a very tough square at this lunation, and you may really be at odds with circumstances in your residential life or with a family member. This is an issue tying back to something that precipitated in the middle of 2013, perhaps there was a residential move, and it is now being drastically reconsidered. There could be an issue with the home, water damage that can’t be adequately repaired, or someone you live with has Neptune issues – alcohol or drug abuse could feature. At this point you have to make a decision for yourself about how to proceed. It might be a tough call, but if you have over idealized circumstances the truth will be apparent now that things can no longer go on this way. Sun conjunct Saturn in your sign on the 29th will see you taking control of the situation.

CAPRICORN: Strong social and professional prospects vie for your attention this month as Venus (Nov. 9th) and Mars (Nov. 13th) come to occupy the apex of your chart, stimulating your ambition and entrepreneurial pursuits. Meanwhile, transits of the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio and a Scorpio New Moon on the 11th offer powerful social and networking opportunities. You are likely coming into the esteem of very important people in your industry and making new associations connected to your recent accomplishments. With a rising profile, you stand to connect with more successful people. With Jupiter in an auspicious position, real expansion and prosperity are within reach. The 13th features a very favorable professional turning point. You may give an interview or have your talents showcased in the media somehow. Friends with benefits (like power and money) come into the frame around the 2nd, 5th, 10th, 17th, and 24th and make valuable introductions. Really favorable meetings transpire on these dates. One caveat for November: a challenging aspect between Neptune and Saturn on the 26th will have a damaging effect on your reputation if you have failed to be completely above board in all your dealings and have upheld all your legal and financial obligation to which you are bound by contracts. You may feel weird about your self image and identity over the Saturn – Neptune phase and may seek to try out esoteric philosophies, meditation or something similar. This is fine, but bear in mind you might be impressionable and steer clear of charlatans and addictive substances. Take a time out on the 30th to collect yourself.

AQUARIUS: A very dynamic New Moon in Scorpio on the 11th brings a stunning new prospect in your career and chosen profession into the frame. An opportunity that is extended now is the successful culmination of the hard working and learning phase that permeated between late – 2012 through 2014. A business partner or spouse may be lucky for you in this phase, and may have made a key introduction or helped you get this venture on track. Developments that have been playing out in secrecy or behind the scenes – a drive to manifest something that emanates from deep within your subconscious, is also a potent force at work here. You may express uneasiness at the transformative forces at work on the 5th, but this is just a signal you are onto something big. Modifications to an existing plan make it stronger and more effective and a partner offers good advice if you are willing to hear it. Positive vibrations surrounding your academic career, an opportunity to travel or lecture, or in the realm of media, publishing or broadcast that got ironed out and initiated last month are due as Venus ( Oct. 9th) and Mars (Oct. 13th) transit Libra and the realm of adventure and far horizons. Cultural activities and exchange are favored. There could be a financial oversight that is the cause of concern around the 26th. Where Neptune has obscured the reality of your income and earnings, there can be a reckoning when Saturn enters the picture, bringing a harsh reality check if one is due. The 29th is positive for checking your facts and creating a new strategy. Pleasurable social activities and interaction, maybe even a love affair, are all enticing possibilities over the Gemini Full Moon on the 25th. This lunation ties into the Saturn – Neptune square, so you may or may not need this diversion. Up to you!

PISCES: Incredible good fortune in a relationship is possible around the 2nd, when the third stunning culmination of Venus conjunct Mars affects your house of committed partnerships, fanning the flames of romantic and erotic desire. You can truly connect with someone on a meaningful way, emotion and sexuality are integrated at this time. The Moon from your house of True Romance connects in Cancer. There has never been a time such as this to realize your most heartfelt desires for love and connectivity. The New Moon in Scorpio on the 11th sets the pace for the month. Endeavors connected to academia, teaching, media and publishing are featured, you may also promote yourself to favorable results at this time, particularly on the 17th. Mercury transiting Scorpio from the 3rd augments this very favorably, and intuition serves you brilliantly on the 6th. Venus (Nov. 9th) and Mars (Nov. 13) come to highlight the area of intimacy and shared resources. You may be pursuing capital to start a business enterprise, if so circle the dates of the 13th and 24th, which are ideal for meetings and negotiation. You have the right combination of tact and diplomacy to make a good impression at this time. A Full Moon in Gemini on the 25th from the area of residence and personal life falls into a dynamic t-square connecting to Mercury conjunct Saturn (Sagittarius) and Neptune (Pisces). This can be a very contentious time for you personally as rivaling energies across your home/professional axis can really exert pressure on your sense of self, identity and ultimately feelings of personal security. Any t-square does, on the other hand, present an opportunity through crisis, and a professional offer that comes in on the 29th will require quick action, so don’t get too bogged down in this.

STARGAZER OCTOBER 2015 FORECAST ~ MAGIC + MANIFESTATION

While events last month may have sent life into splatter mode, we have several opportunities in October to pick up the pieces, get organized and manifest our objectives. Venus, Mars and Jupiter all transit fastidious Virgo, compelling us to take up the tasks we have set for ourselves, empowered immensely by positive contacts as all three transit Pluto, now direct, in Capricorn. (Dates below!) The tenderness and affection that has been lacking over the prior months as Venus transited in retrograde, then a shell of her former self in retrograde shadow, concludes on the 10th. A final square to Saturn on the same day is one last test we’ll (or our partnerships) need to endure or overcome. From there the pervasive ick factor that has predominated quickly recedes into distant memory. It is a time to release situations past their expiration date or get serious and make a commitment. The ones that make it through were genuinely built to last and Pluto contacts will bestow alluring and passionate developments within relationships that survived the course. Some will experience this as positive material developments and find that it is easier to turn up income, gain money and resources from others, or even both. This is the good news. Oppositions to Neptune, meanwhile, obfuscate situations considerably, and particularly with Mars – Neptune there can be a crushing reality check if we have deceived ourselves or others. All this stuff ties into what we put into motion last February – March. The Pisces eclipse in March was a crucial turning point, and we’ll see fruits from our efforts or the results of decisions we made in that period now. It’s also possible the Neptune contacts are highly romantically charged, and there can be some really enchanting exchanges up ahead! Tune into how you feel during these contacts, and if the bubble bursts or you find yourself disillusioned or disappointed, much better to scrap it now than genuinely struggle next month when Saturn squares Neptune and demands a complete realignment where we have been delusional.

With the eclipses in the rear view mirror and Mercury direct from the 9th, this is a far more productive time in which to get the wheels turning on a crucial endeavors that had been way-sided or turned upside-down. Conjunctions from Virgo planets to Jupiter set the stage for auspicious beginnings and can provide opportunities to generate growth and prosperity. Clarity is crucial to success at this time. Virgo’s ability to get right into the nitty gritty, ask every question and scrutinize every last detail can be exhausting for those of us more on the free spirited side, but there is great value in embracing these attributes right now. If you really can’t manage the details, then get someone on your team who can! The method is nearly as important as the out come in this phase. The North Node also enters Virgo on the 11th, placing the evolutionary consciousness on efficient, stream lined organization and conscientious behavior and life style choices. More attention must be given to the management of both professional and personal habits as dissipation and tendencies towards drifting, grifting and day dreaming in particular will meet with bad auspices. This will become most apparent in about a year when the South Node connects to Neptune end October/early November next year. The evolutionary drive of this node placement is towards creating systems of total efficiency, in which nothing is superfluous, where everything is there for a precise reason. Discretion is necessary for growth. Coupled with Pluto, which also serves a purging, regenerative function, there is the possibility of really getting rid of negative habits, relationships or spiritual energy that is toxic, or holding us back somehow. This is the evolutionary intent anyway. Personally I would hope to see the Jupiter – Pluto trine specifically (which occurs three times in all between now and next Summer) to offer some advancements on an ecological level, aiding humanity to find ways to conserve resources through emerging technology and the reduction of waste, though of course you can use the transit(s) to find a way to play your own part 🙂 We got a taste of these themes during the Virgo eclipse last month.

Mercury towards the end of it’s retrograde cycle (ending Oct. 9) engages in a long conversation with Saturn, (from the 6th – 14th) so it seems negotiations at this point surround our objectives and long range goals. This is augmented by the positive presence of the North Node conjunct Mercury throughout the same period, with their exact conjunction occurring precisely as Mercury turns direct. Successful integration of the evolutionary directives of North Node Libra pays off nicely, assuming we took the cue. The ability to work with another in tandem – whether within a relationship, business or creative endeavor – now opens us to incredibly positive opportunities over the next month, with the New Moon in Libra revealing all the juicy details.

Jupiter enters retrograde shadow this same day (October 12th) meaning the degrees it passes over now through the beginning of the retrograde cycle (beginning early January 2016) will be revisited between now and next August. Our personal scope of discovery, expansion and success is going to be a work in progress from here through next Summer. This is fine, we’re off to a fabulous start with all the Jupiter conjunctions this month and so many wonderful opportunities taking root this month! This is a sacred and magical season, and easily one of the best astrological months of the year, delve deep into what awakens within. HAPPY ALL HALLOWS!

The shift of the North Node to this area on the 11th also indicates your evolutionary direction is focused towards a very spiritual undertaking. You are discovering the art of acting selflessly and derive incredible satisfaction from living from a spirit of true compassion. This transit also suggests you cultivate private time for yourself, and release yourself from the demands of others. Partnerships may be testing this month, you get better results for a relationship to take root from November 8th, as Venus transits your sign, love, though a Full Moon on the 27th brings an intimate relationship into view. A transformative experience through deep love is possible at this time.

A Jupiter – Pluto trine on the 11th has exceptional implications in your social sphere and also suggests lucrative profits from a professional enterprise. Communication and networking are very productive in this phase. You make very valuable connections on the 15th, 17th and 23rd. A remarkable development in a love relationship or with a business partner during the Full Moon on Taurus on the 27th shows you precisely how far you have come over the prior year.

SAGITTARIUS: Mars (September 26th) and Venus (October 9th) come to occupy the professional arena of your chart, stimulating a very vibrant and energetic climate in which you can easily pursue and realize your career and vocational goals. A rare and powerful trine between Jupiter and Pluto can allow for substantial financial growth through your professional undertakings, a trend that begins now and continues to influence your chart through next June. The 11th and 15th are dynamite for making really substantial progress here. The 17th, 23rd and 25th are remarkable dates to elevate your profile and generate new sources of income. Paradoxically, you may be experiencing rather uncertain conditions at home and in relation to family members or your residence. There is this quality of flux in this arena and the issue is quite opaque or hard to really pin down. The 6th and 16th will point to feelings of ambiguity or uncertainty surrounding your personal life. Mercury direct from the 9th will signal better conditions for communicating and decision making. The 11th sees a sextile to Saturn in your sign and you can start to set the agenda for the upcoming months. All the details fall into place during the New Moon on the 13th. Associations begin to gel and you can effectively work with others at this time.

CAPRICORN: Confusion or uncertainty in your professional area lift mid month, with arrangements made and details coming into place around the time of the Libra New Moon on the 13th. Uranus is a major player in the configuration unfolding at this time, and there may be shift in your residential life to accommodate an offer that comes in. A seemingly sudden change at this time has likely been culminating over the last two years. Venus joining Mars in Virgo from the 9th adds to your force of attraction and persuasion. Your charisma is off the charts on the 15th and 23rd, you can make a remarkable impression at those time. Enterprises connected to travel, media, publishing, education or prospects associated with promoting yourself within your industry could not be more favorably implicated. The Jupiter – Pluto trine on the 11th speaks volumes to this and there is a rare and incredible opportunity to make a really bold move between now and next June. The conjunctions of Mars (Oct. 17th) and Venus (Oct. 25) to Jupiter are phenomenal dates to pursue these goals, initiatives, and new projects. Time for some R + R around the time of the Taurus Full Moon on the 27th. A pleasurable interlude will restore and rejuvenate you. The serendipity of True Love is also possible at this time.

AQUARIUS: A Libra New Moon on the 13th signals a return to the new normal regarding your publishing, travel or educational goals. You can sign the University papers, buy the airline ticket or prepare a new venture related to the media or promotion to success at this time. Mars joined Jupiter in Leo at the very end of last month, with Venus soon to follow on the 9th. A connection to Pluto by Jupiter can indicate an inheritance or legacy of some sort. Money seems to come in from a hidden resource in one form or another. If you have been conducting business strategically behind the scenes, you may begin to see profits from this venture at this time. The 15th, 23rd and 25th are also auspicious for negotiations and learning about a partner’s positive contribution to your household budget. North Node also moves into this area on the 11th. The theme of merger with another, either in terms of sharing resources and profit (such as in a business partnership, or in the realm of a committed relationship where you “marry” your income to you spouse’s to create greater whole from the parts), but also on a soul level of deepening of intimacy through trust and commitment, and this will be the thrust of your evolution over the next two years. Look to upcoming eclipse dates on the Pisces/Virgo axis, the next arrives in March of 2016.

PISCES: A partner connects you to a group or organization through which you may come to realize your most cherished dreams and aspirations, a really fascinating development that transpires on the 11th. This story unfolds between now and next June, but events now signal a really powerful shift for you socially. You are connecting with like minded people in this phase and working together find you can move mountains. Venus transiting the house of relationships from the 9th brings a harmonious and loving ambience to your partnership prospects. The 23rd (Venus trine Pluto) and 25th (Venus conjunct Jupiter!!!) offer sterling developments within committed relationships. Both the 17th and 25th can bring about very favorable introductions. Mars in opposition from Virgo is a bit more challenging, especially when Neptune from your sign comes into frame on the 6th and 16th. On these dates you may find it’s more challenging to express your viewpoint. It’s worthwhile to stand down and wait for the better opportunities that emerge on the 15th and 30th. Accept an invitation to a tremendous social event during the Full Moon in Taurus on the 27th. Connecting with kindred spirits is favored at this time.

STARGAZER FORECAST AUGUST 2015

STARGAZER FORECAST AUGUST 2015

Check out the new STARGAZER video blog on YouTube, where I discuss the upcoming two weeks aspects with my friend Fiord: https://youtu.be/xUSVNLauqJ0

August packs a bit of a punch, and while there will be some positive results and returns, especially for innovative endeavors begun last Spring, our long range goals and especially love or financial arrangements can be visited by testing influences at this time. Much of this has to do with Venus retrograde, not a completely infrequent occurrence, but a challenging one for matters of the heart and forming partnerships for either business or pleasure. The retro phase allows for some pulse enhancing double and triple takes – we may get another chance on a love relationship that slipped through our fingers – and fantastic connections between Venus to Jupiter (Aug. 4 + October 25th), Uranus (Aug. 19 + September 24) as well as really passionate contacts with Mars (September 1 + November 1st) offer some really vibrant exchanges. Meanwhile the Saturn square (exact on Aug. 5 + October 10th) can signal delays or challenges within a partnership. It may also just represent a period of reappraisal, where we don’t quite know where we stand with another or even in relation to our own feelings! It’s acceptable to step back, evaluate and see what is and what is not working in our relationships. What is good to know is that relationships that survive this critical period were really meant to last. Venus resumes direct motion on September 6th.

In the context of a meaningful love connection, neither Venus retrograde or the Venus – Saturn square will be enough to derail a relationship if it is fundamentally good, but may provide obstacles in the form of separations or obligations that somehow keep a partnership from really coming together during this period. When Venus and Saturn engage, we really begin to question whether the relationship is worth moving forward with, does a relationship have what it takes to endure through the next phase of our development? This is a question we may not be able to answer until October, as the final aspect occurs October 10th, at precisely the same time as the end of the Venus retrograde shadow phase. By then Saturn is in Sagittarius and we are more tuned into our new, long range objectives. Through that time we are restructuring and determining the appropriateness and durability of our relationships, and building a new life with new ingredients in order to accommodate them.

The period from 2nd through the 7th is very pivotal, as Saturn resumes direct motion, then is promptly squared by Jupiter, Venus and Mercury all in Leo. Woah! Meanwhile, Venus conjunct Jupiter and Mercury conjunct Jupiter all insist upon a lighthearted and open ambience for exchange. Saturn in Scorpio forces us to dig deep and ensure alliances and commitments are meaningful and will allow us to transcend what we can do individually through working together. These aspects can represent poignant awareness of limitations and what we might need to release, either from within our emotional selves or through our relationships. Scorpio can have a tendency to self protective and defensive behavior when the vulnerable deeper feelings are activated, but really what Saturn is teaching and pushing us towards is revealing those emotions in order to create the profound level of trust required in our most intimate alliances.

While quite challenging, this is actually a very instructive period, if we stay attuned to the deeper message. School of hard knocks life lessons via Saturn in Scorpio can be tough, but these square aspects, and this whole first week of August will illuminate (possibly through confrontational situations or bittersweet feelings connected to a potential separation) the responsibility we must accept to take the next significant step towards maturity, security and a lasting resolution to the message of Saturn in Scorpio. Where it lies in your chart is what needs working on, and at least, with Saturn direct that work can begin now with the realizations that will likely come to light during the first week of the month. Acknowledging our personal limitations or obstacles may feel quite prickly, and the circumstances we contend with may feel quite obstinate, but are very valuable in pointing us not only towards what we really desire, but what needs to be resolved to get there. Another note, if you are in contract or other personal – professional negotiations that need to be resolved, this month (Venus retro not withstanding) is superior to September or October, which sees a Mercury retrograde phase through Libra.

Jupiter enters Virgo on the 11th, providing a real shift in orientation which will emphasize the practical and methodical. New value will be placed on efficiency and coming up with strategies for the implementation of practices that enhance productivity and wellness. Jupiter’s expansive influence is somewhat mitigated by the narrow focus of Virgo, but from an earth sign, and coupled with the influence of Saturn in direct motion, there is the positive indication of manifesting in the material realm and seeing tangible results for our output, which has primarily been theoretical through the heavy fire sign emphasis that has predominated this year. This is a positive period in which to put our thoughts into practice, with a brilliant culmination on the 26th as the Sun and Jupiter conjunct at 3 degrees of Virgo, stimulating a year long opportunity for expansion though conscientious and meticulous attention to detail and results oriented activities.

The squares of Jupiter (August 3rd,) Venus (August 5th,) and Mercury (August 6th) to Saturn reveal the details. Better professional transits come in when Mercury in Virgo harmonizes on the 26th. Put an endeavor into motion on the 6th. A Full Moon in your sign on the 29th brings emotional and personal satisfaction for all that you have managed to achieve this Summer. Good work! An intimate celebration is in order.

STARGAZER FORECAST JULY 2015

STARGAZER JULY OVERVIEW:

***Personalized July Readings based on your chart now available. Contact stargazerastroatlas@gmail.com***

Well, we made it through the prior Mercury Retrograde and Shadow phase, (which officially ended June 26th,) which was particularly bewildering as a long and drawn out square to Neptune was pervasive throughout. Where confusion and illusion reigned supreme, we hopefully have modified our perspective and eliminated some of the delusional bits as they were pointed out to us. Neptune, and the vision/fantasy/dream it stimulates in our life right now, sees much better auspices this month, as planets transiting from Cancer connect fruitfully and beneficially, assisting our quest for connection to the elusive etherial. Dates to look out for are the (Sun) 2nd, (Mars) the 9th and also (Mercury) the 14th. There is an open and receptive quality to events and exchanges at these times, and we can tap reservoirs of deep compassion and imagination. The more abrasive aspects to Pluto (Sun) July 7th, (Mercury) 16th, (Mars) 17th, can indicate severe clashes of will and ego, as there can be very volatile and confrontational events or circumstances to contend with. As always, there is equally potential to break through if we take our ego and personal motives out of the equation and seek to do what is best for the clan (Cancer) through conscientious transformation of the structure (Capricorn).

It’s the New Moon in Cancer on the 16th that proves most pivotal, and offers equal potential for complete breakthrough or when highly contentious or challenging situations are to arise. Likely, it’s a mixture of both, and events transpiring now probably tie into the energy patterns and situations stimulated by the Libra eclipse of April 4th. Mercury and Mars are conjunct at the time of the New Moon at 14 Cancer, square the degree of the Eclipse, which fell at 14 degrees on the Aries – Libra axis. New information about the message of the Eclipse emerges here as well new pathways to explore those directives. Pluto lies in direct opposition, from 14 Capricorn, so there can be vexing and contemptuous vibrations, particularly where we are trying to break free from limiting circumstances that have restricted us unconditionally or for a great deal of time. Emotion is enhanced and emphasized, and there can be a great deal of effusive feeling (good or bad) that simmers quickly to the surface. A theme of removing one’s emotional armor can become apparent, and Neptune harmonizes the polarities from Pisces, lending a supportive spiritual awareness that emphasizes compassion to guide us during this dynamic, potentially stormy, phase of activities. Again, we harmonize with the dream and visionary to make the most of the energy available at this New Moon.

Chiron, now retrograde, also benefits from the Cancer transits, linking to the Sun on the 14th, Mercury on the 19th and Mars on the 27th. These transits signify opportunities to heal, but in a radical or renegade sort of way. Trying alternative therapies – acupuncture, aroma/chroma, crystals or other non-traditional forms of care can be very successful at these time.

Venus continues to galavant through Leo. Her conjunction to Jupiter on the 1st (21 Leo) is highly auspicious for the area of your chart lit up. Very positive vibrations are stimulated and you may turn up help, resources or another form of “good luck” that assists you in the pursuits of the house being stimulated. As it’s a once in 12 year event, (really once in a lifetime since Uranus is still in trine from Aries,) the “where” is going to provide a major asset for you over the coming year! You may have already begun to see the themes emerging during the Jupiter – Uranus trine last month. Venus comes in and offers a major assist now. It’s very easy under this alinement to just want to roll high on the energy of the good vibes emanating. A Full Moon at 9 Capricorn the same day will likely provoke a more attentive if not tenacious response. Attention to matters of business may be highlighted. Nonetheless, a fun and carefree ambience will underscore any more serious activities.

Jupiter leaves the shadow of it’s prior retrograde phase the weekend of the 11th. This will begin a chapter of fresh opportunities for growth and expansion. This sector of your chart is far from being done, as transits of Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus will continue to activate Leo throughout the Summer months. Hopefully the Venus – Jupiter link provides a wonderful opportunity in this area, with the other transits continuing to enhance our efforts with the Leo dash of fun, creativity and self expressiveness.

On the 19th, Venus stations at 0 degrees Virgo, where it remains at through the end of the month, turning retrograde on the 25th. The retrograde period of Venus occurs every two years and lasts through September 6th. The retro phase is not considered auspicious for making expensive purchases, particularly of luxury items or art, taking vows or deepening romantic commitments, or undertaking dramatic changes of one’s appearance, particularly cosmetic surgery. Matters of the heart may be rekindled (resurfacing of past romance) or a relationship ongoing may be reconsidered, or merely set aside, if one or both of the partners need to be away for any reason. It’s a mild transit, for the most part, and does set the stage not only for two more Venus – Jupiter conjunctions, but also two more trysts with Mars. These are highly alluring and auspicious events! Meanwhile, tangent Saturn will also be in the frame, forming an abrasive square on the 14th (28 Leo – Scorpio) with two more upcoming. Duty and obligation may interfere with the connections we seek to make in these phases, though the awareness triggered by feelings of limitation can give urgency to solve the problem or resolve the obstacle Saturn is creating for us, which can be quite useful. Saturn and Venus harmonize more fruitfully in November, and we’ll see a better climate for making and cultivating commitments in relationships and for material or financial concerns in general.

STARGAZER MONTHLY HOROSCOPES:

ARIES: This will be a challenging month for everyone, so don’t take it personally if not everyone is able to come through for you in this phase. Equally lit are the areas of home and profession, and you may find it impossible, especially around the middle of the month, to reach any accord in either. You also feel moody, and this can trigger volatile reactions. The Full Moon in Capricorn on the 2nd sees a stunning culmination in your career or choice of life direction. A living mate or family member may display envy or challenge you at this time. If issues cannot be resolved, the New Moon on the 16th will allow for a change of residence more appropriate for your evolving needs. The 8th is very revealing of your most subconscious desire where residential matters are concerned. A romance is still on fire and the 1st sees the stunning conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in the house of True Romance. TAURUS: It’s a challenging month for all, Taurus, so if folks seem out of sorts or hard to reach, don’t take it personally. Communication and long distance travel will be the most significantly impacted for you, mid month features incredible challenges, and travel should be avoided if possible. The earlier part of the month is far more favorable, and you might try for the 2nd, when a Full Moon illuminates the zone of distant horizons. You can connect with a visionary experience while traveling, and the 8th is also auspicious for articulating your hopes, wishes and dreams through writing or poetry. Domestic and residential concerns will preoccupy you otherwise: a very positive development on the 1st (when Venus is conjunct to Jupiter, affecting your personal life) in addition to very auspicious financial conditions that allow for improvement over the first week augment significant and substantial upgrades to your living situation. A Full Moon on the 31st emphasizes your professional achievements, pushing you into the spotlight. A change of agenda is indicated when Venus retrogrades on the 25th.

GEMINI: Financial undercurrents and the divide between what’s mine/what’s your’s/what’s our’s predominates in July, with some real confrontational episodes if accord cannot be found in the division of equity or shared resources. A breakthrough – settlement, or division of property is possible. The New Moon on the 16th signals a peak of activity in this arena: you might add a source of income, only to see resources dwindling due to debt or expenditures associated with a business or personal partnership. The 15th is highly contentious. You’ll seek reprieve, and revelry though a writing project or friends could be just the right antidote. Jupiter’s last full month in the house of daily life and communication suggests you make the most of it while you can! The conjunction of Venus to Jupiter on the 1st shows you the way through. The first week of the month features some very enjoyable moments, so it’s not all doom and gloom. A strong career emphasis on the 8th and 13th in particular allow for insights or conversations that will lead to added earnings through your professional endeavors.

CANCER: July is pretty stormy by any account with everyone affected, you do your best to not make too much out problems that are not your own. The first week goes very well, with a good deal of information coming in in regards to your profession and linking to positive financial developments behind the scenes. A very auspicious meeting of Venus and Jupiter on the 1st can bring about a really incredible development connected to your earnings, savings or the acquisition of valuable property. It’s around the 6th and into the middle of the month challenging vibrations really begin to present themselves. A very confrontational New Moon in your sign on the 16th can see you at odds with a partner. Mars and Mercury combine in your sign, opposing obstinate Pluto and it looks like someone has their fight face on. Neptune sends in some supportive vibrations, easing your nerves on the 8th and 13th. Try tuning into the bigger picture when these occur. Like everything, no matter how entrenched the challenges are at the time, all things come to an end eventually. Venus retrogrades in Leo on the 25th slowing earnings to some extent, though Mercury steps in around the same time, so finances continue to be a topic for a few more weeks. Use it or lose it, Jupiter is set to move out on the 11th of August.

LEO: Venus and Jupiter conjunct in your sign on the 1st, you feel vital and generous, especially with a loved one. The first week of the month is very satisfying in regard to love and friendship. Behind the scenes and in your most private life things may get a little stormy. The period around the New Moon on the 16th is very contentious, particularly where a secret may come to light that exposes a very inconvenient truth. It’s also possible a health matter surfaces now quite unexpectedly, or there could be friction in your work environment. Perhaps a colleague has been acting surreptitiously and the exposure of these actions affects you personally. Venus retrograde on the 25th bring Venus back to your sign next month. The Sun and Mercury both enter your sign on July 24th bolstering your efficiency and invigorating your spirit. Jupiter complete it’s passage through your sign in the coming weeks, use your good fortune or lose it! Saturn back in Scorpio may see reemergence of a residential issue you had thought was resolved. This issue will be sensitized around the 14th and 26th, with resolution in store next month.

VIRGO: A secret, sultry love affair may be on July’s agenda when Venus and Jupiter combine beautifully on the 1st of the month. A friend may make an introduction to someone that feels like positive serendipity. Events on the 8th, as well as a Full Moon in the house of True Romance conjunct passionate Pluto on the 2nd also bode positively for engaging in a pleasure pursuit. Venus makes a brief transit of your sign from the 19th, going retrograde on the 25th, so you’ll feel oh so smitten… Not quite yet Virgo, seems like there is some thing or some one not quite ready to join your team. Mid month features some pretty confrontational episodes, might be your crew doesn’t see eye to eye with you on your new love interest. You might have some explaining to do, or not! Your choice, and you still benefit now more than ever from reflection and privacy, though a lot of social invitations likely come your way this month as well. You can choose to take it or leave it on the New Moon on the 16th.

LIBRA: Completion in the domestic cycle comes over the Full Moon in Capricorn on the 2nd, tying back to events late last December. A residential move or shift of some sort occurs, possibly for the sake of a career opportunity that comes to fruition mid month. An intense dynamic is at play in your professional sphere, which requires incredible finesse to deal with. Personalities or situations you have to contend with can be volatile, particularly around the New Moon on the 16th. A dark mood on the 14th affects you personally, keep busy to mitigate the blues. Set the record straight on the 16th – the plans you put into motion now set the agenda for the next 3 months. Professionally there can be a significant breakthrough, you have to leave something behind to make the most of or engage this opportunity fully. Intuition will guide you on the 8th, tune into a vision for the future. The Full Moon in Aquarius on the 31st will bring more cheerful vibrations. A creative project or time spent with chidden elevates your spirits considerably.

SCORPIO: Mars from Cancer infuses you with passion and drive, but mid month sees some very contentious vibrations as Sun opposite Pluto (July 6th), Venus square Saturn (the 14th) and Mars/Mercury opposite Pluto (the 15th) make it pretty hard to hear yourself in the crowd. You may or may not notice of course. This is the last full month of Jupiter in Leo, and coupled with the transit of Venus, and a sparkling conjunction between them on the first, there’s a use it or lose it quality this month that will make you want to tune everything out and focus on the incredible developments taking place for you professionally. Sun and Mercury move into Leo on the 24th, roll up your sleeves and get to it! Saturn back in your sign helps you tie up any loose ends, and also gives you a healthy dose of seriousness and endurance you can actually really benefit from in this hardworking phase. A Full Moon towards the end of the month pulls your attention to your domestic sector, and you may be seeing some movement here. Venus retrograde on the 25th sees that you may be generating less revenue over the coming weeks, or that an enterprise may see shifts in personnel. A strong female figure would be the most likely to move on from the crew in question. Love and relationships always seem to suffer to some extent in this period, and while there might not be a change of heart, there can be separations due to circumstances.

SAGITTARIUS: There may be some conflicts this month with a spouse or business partner regarding shared sources of revenue. Disagreement stems from distinguishing the division of what is mine, your’s and ours. These themes resonate as soon as the Full Moon on the 2nd, bringing closure to a personal financial matter, with clashes upcoming two weeks later, during the New Moon on the 16th. If you have debt that needs to be resolved this can manifest in an unwelcome call or correspondence from a bank or credit card company, as well. You can mitigate a financial catastrophe well in advance by keeping up with your bills and having something set aside to cover any shortages that might occur in this period. There will still be several reasons to celebrate this month. A luxe vacation may be in store around the Venus – Jupiter conjunction on the 1st. A Neptune influence is present, so a sea side resort would be appropriate and offer very pleasurable recreation, particularly if you are traveling with a loved one. Venus from Leo sends lovely vibrations, a trend that endures through the 19th, when it enters Virgo. Use it or lose it! This is the last full month of Jupiter in your sign, and you still have brilliant auspices right now to put a personal endeavor into motion.

CAPRICORN: There are some pretty contentious forces at work this month, potentially tying back to issues that surfaced in a relationship at the beginning of the year. Set your intentions squarely at the time of the Full Moon in your sign on the 2nd. A close alinement to Neptune suggests you tune into the vision you really want for your life in this phase. An intrinsic sense of serendipity will bring ease and relaxation of your essence. Really trying energies are present around the time of the Cancer New Moon on the 16th, as the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars oppose Pluto in your sign. Dynamic forces at work here can bring heated argumentativeness into a partnership or with an open enemy or fierce competitor. Uranus is close enough in range at the time of the New Moon to still present a certain X Factor. Also look to your chart for the precise date of the opposition of Mars to your Sun or Ascendant. This will be a very sensitive transit that affects you quite personally. The 14th sees the square of Venus to Saturn, and a dour, depressive mood prevails. It’s choppy waters out there for sure. The first week, on the other hand, has some really marvelous influences. A Venus – Jupiter conjunction on the 1st sets a really positive tone, and can bring fourth a really excellent source of revenue for you, if not deepen the bond between yourself and a lover. Communication on the job through the 5th will be very good, and negotiations and discussions go very well. Venus retrograde from the 25th suggests a slowdown or period of reappraisal of a business partnership or romantic relationship.

AQUARIUS: You’ll move into a more hard working phase in July, as numerous Cancer transits including the Sun (June 22,) Mercury (July 9,) and Mars (June 25th,) signal your attention is shifting to matters of health, life management and productivity. Some challenging alinements to Pluto mid month, around the time of the Cancer New Moon on the 16th, may suggest someone is working behind the scenes to undermine the efforts of yourself or your team. It is possible a secret emerges in this period that has a negative effect on the productivity of your workplace. Very positive indications at the beginning of the month, on the other hand, favor a relationship as Venus and Jupiter connect in Leo. This could mutually factor for a love relationship or a business partnership. With Venus and Jupiter involved, there is more than enough to go around, and you are best advised to use it to your advantage. People just want to help you in this phase, and their motivation is genuinely altruistic. It’s a brilliant opportunity to connect with love and generosity. All is hunky dory with more good news coming in until the 6th. With Pluto involved in contentious aspects for the upcoming weeks, it’s equally possible that global financial issues are at odds with your agenda, and that a feeling of forces at work much bigger than ourselves will likely present obstacles for everyone. Enjoy the good stuff the best you can! A Full Moon in your sign on the 31st brings a wonderful personal culmination six months in the making. The last of 3 Jupiter – Uranus trines on the 22nd brings home an agreement in a committed partnership that has been in flux since last October. You’ll love the news you get. One caveat for June: Saturn retrogrades back into the professional zone on the 16th, suggesting you may have some loose ends to tie up in regard to your profession, a trend that lasts through the Summer.

PISCES: Domestic matters turn around favorably this month, a New Moon on the 16th reveals all the details and you can sign the lease, get the key or seal the deal with a flat mate who doesn’t make you crazy. A Sun – Mars conjunction on the 14th is favorable for a move. Venus joins Jupiter in Leo, amplifying the positive vibrations in your work and productivity sector. STARGAZER WEEKLY FORECAST APRIL 12 – 18, 2015

Greetings Stargazers! This will be my last post for a bit, as my other commitments will make it impossible to keep up this column and I’ll be moving to a monthly essay beginning May 1st. You can always get my daily aspects + general forecast and your personal 2015 and monthly horoscopes by sign on the Stargazer App on iTunes. XOXO

Venus began it’s transit of flirtatious, social butterfly Gemini Saturday the 11th, the tone in romantic affiliations is light and breezy. Keeping it casual will be the way to go for the upcoming weeks, and affection will be expressed through shared intellectual activities, social events and parties. Communication is enhanced during this transit, and partnered or not, there will be pleasure derived through writing, speaking and learning. The first stage of this journey may prove challenging, as Venus opposes Saturn midweek, and affections and finances are tested and even stressed. Saturn in Sagittarius is pointing us in the direction of something specific, and Gemini prefers to scatter it’s energy. The challenge here lies in the desire to reach out to new and ephemeral activities and attachments, Saturn reminds us of the long range goal, perhaps presenting an obstacle, financial or otherwise to our aims. This is the culminating opposition of the Venus – Saturn cycle, which began November 13, 2014 at 25 Scorpio, so we see the manifestation or maturation of objectives or relationships that started around that time. There can be feelings of fleeting depression or negativity with this transit, which requires a serious appraisal of what is and what is not working. Realizing that certain activities are not yielding the consequences we had sought may be disheartening, but it’s also an opportunity to lessen the load and get rid of things that have become superfluous.

Mercury enters Taurus on Tuesday the 14th, providing a more stable ambience for laying down the groundwork of our plans, likely stimulated during the electrifying impulses and awareness released during the passage through Aries. We can ground our efforts into tangible form now and come up with methods and agreements that facilitate our endeavors. Use this while you can, the upcoming Mercury shadow and retrograde phase from May into June will throw us all for a loop, making the next two weeks integral for putting forth our best efforts and getting to work towards the objectives that have likely eluded us so far this year. Mercury quincunx Saturn on Thursday will require modifications be made to existing plans, as new information surfaces and clarification and refinement of objectives must be made. Here again, we are reducing the superfluous elements from the plan and moving forward with a more simplified agenda. Communication may be tense around this period, so maybe not the best date for your most important negotiations.

Pluto retrogrades on Thursday at 15′ 33″ Capricorn, signaling the intensity level is about to diminish. Pluto has been pretty active this year so far, so for many it will be a welcome reprieve from all that transformative energy that has abounded in the atmosphere. The retrograde phase lasts through September 25th, when it will reactivate the necessity toward inner psychological change. For now, we digest the profound encounters and personal revelations that have transpired since the end of September last year.

Mars from Taurus is active this week, sextile Neptune on Sunday, stimulating fantasy and visionary tendencies. There is a real soft edge to the energy at this time, and it can be satisfying to indulge day dreams or or gratifying experiences through engagement with music, cinema or art. Spiritual tendencies are also highlighted, and we’ll see the progression of an inspirational quest that initiated January 19th, when these planets were conjunct at 5 Pisces. By the end of the week, Mars reaches Jupiter, as the two fiery planets square off in a battle royale. The Moon from Aries adds a stimulating emotional undertone, and there may be a propensity towards brash and big ventures or risk. This is the closing square in the Mars – Jupiter cycle initiated July 23rd, 2013, so we will urgently seek to complete the business of what we began at that time. We will work very hard now to bring these to a conclusion, to make space for the new cycle which begins on October 16th, when the energy renews at 13 Virgo.

The week culminates in the Aries New Moon on Saturday, illuminating a sense of rebirth and renewal as we continue to move forward towards our new horizons. The lunation is essentially unaspected, but some of the heat of the Mars – Jupiter square will be present and infuse our passion and vitality. The crucial (and in some cases intense,) beginnings made in these prior weeks come to root now as we begin to really perceive what the future can be, and take action to get there. The eclipses shook us out of complacency and brought numerous endings as well as stimulation to build up new aspects of our lives based on new awareness. From Aries, the planets aroused the pioneer spirit, and we can bravely move towards the objectives illuminated over the prior month.

You can take what you have learned since last Fall and refine your strategies as you see what proves successful and that which has not. You may also find there are less conflicts in this arena, and that setting the course for your professional goals becomes easier as a result. The upcoming period is best used towards self expression and romantic engagements. A child may feature, and you may decide to have one or otherwise link up with someone who brings you into contact with the younger generation. Finances will also continue to require attention and the next two weeks are advantageous for negotiating contracts and getting a budget together. A conflict may arise towards the end of the week in which you may have to curtail your activities as a result of being financially overburdened. Meanwhile social activities will also provide luminous exchanges, and day to day discourse, communication and writing will all be enhanced positively. Though the social arena is lit brilliantly for you, you may experience ideological conflicts with someone as a confrontation emphasizing values may prove a bit of a shake up midweek. A partnership may also require appraisal and a significant conversation with a spouse or someone you are linked to in business could be a feature. The New Moon in your sign heralds a new beginning for you, and with so much having transpired in recent weeks – from shake ups to break ups – you are ready to get things back on track, and are prepared to see a new world order on queue for yourself in the very immediate future. There has been a great deal of food for thought about where you want to go next, what is the next cycle of evolution in your life. You can set your intentions for a new beginning on Saturday based on your new awareness and move forward graciously towards the next destination.

TAURUS: The thunderbolts and interior revelations that clamored within the nether regions of your psyche over the prior weeks begin to dwindle, and with Mars and Mercury (from Tuesday) transiting your sign, you’ll feel more clarity towards your life direction can really begin to assert and articulate yourself as you steer closer to your birthday. The New Moon next Saturday will allow you to clear the decks of your subconscious and offers a sense of renewal where you have likely made numerous adaptations in your private life over the last 6 weeks. Feelings of romantic revelry will likely stir Sunday, this is an auspicious time for a date or social event that can bring a fortunate acquaintance into your life. Your imagination is stimulated so this is a good time for an event connected to art, music or cinema especially. Wednesday can be a bit more vexing, particularly where finances are concerned. You may find a debt forces you to curtail a desired luxury purchase, though you will find improved conditions after this week to bolster earnings even if you feel the pinch now. Further concessions or adjustments may need to be made Thursday, this is a good time to address a budgetary issue or contemplate your repayment schedules. From Thursday Pluto retrograde signals a less intense ambience for your academic life, but can also represent a gear shift in a partnership as well. (Pluto rules your 7th house of committed relationships.) There could be a relationship with someone connected to your academic life or someone from a distance with whom you have shared a passionate exchange over the prior months that recedes for a while. This applies to any close partnership as well, not just romantic ones. There could be a clash within your domestic world at the end of the week and you may clash with someone in your home environment or simply feel frustrated about your circumstances. There is initiative available to you to take action at this time on a situation that has stagnated since the end of last year. By Saturday night you are more in your element as the moon transits your sign. Slow and steady.

GEMINI: With your ruling planet moving into slow and steady Taurus on Tuesday, the pace will be a bit more measured for you over the coming two weeks. (Enjoy it while you can, you have nearly 10 weeks of Mercury transiting your sign beginning on the 30th!!!) Meanwhile a Venus transit genuinely brightens your days though could signal some growing pains mid week as you desire to connect to another only to run into obstacles. If someone comes off as detached or closed off you may have to consider the signals you are sending, you may just be getting a reflection of what you putting out there. As you are in a heavy period of appraisal of what a committed relationship means to you, and it’s possible people perceive your introspection as a form of withdrawal from the relationship. These Saturn transits will reveal a great deal to you in regards to where you really stand and are quite crucial to your inquiry, so heed them. Venus makes far better aspects for you next week and you’ll find more favorable conditions socially and romantically. The eclipse may have stirred feelings towards a romantic encounter as well, with next week really exceptional to follow through on what culminated at that time. You’ll meanwhile find some of the financial emphasis comes off and have may recently completed paying off a large debt or will soon do so. The New Moon next weekend amplifies your social connectivity and benefit immensely through the presence of Venus to engage with pleasurable activities and people. Watch your words on Friday, though, a belligerent and outspoken energy presides and you may push hard (or be pushed hard upon) in conversation. Rash decisions may lead to accidents! Be careful out there!

CANCER: There is a tenuous balance forming between fantasy and reality this week. Venus begins a transit of your house of all that is hidden and secret, stimulating your latent and etherial essence, meanwhile commitments at work draw your attention. Mid week sees a conflict between a desire for quiet reflection and even intimacy with the demands of your work schedule. Adjustment will be required here and you’ll be reflective about your obligations and duties and how well they are serving your interior motivations. This transit will likely stimulate some very imaginative energies, and the focus of your wishful thinking will likely feature romantic day dreams. This may not seem particularly productive, but can be useful as you’ll be able to tap your deepest realms of fantasy and these can point you to what you are missing or that which you seek. It’s also likely your dreams will be very active and the symbols or patterns revealed can be very instructive in revealing what you are seeking and what is ready to be released. Some of the heat or tension in a partnership may come off while Pluto retrogrades through September. It’s a positive period to digest and address the significant transformations that have occurred since last September. Social life and time with friends will be featured, and many communications and events will fill your schedule through the end of the month. things get a bit contentious Friday night, there may be an argument over money or you may be tempted to overdo it and spend lavishly at a fun event. The New Moon Saturday brings home all of the permutations that have occurred for you professionally over the last 6 weeks, and prepares you to accept a new role or position of authority or responsibility. Chaotic energies that have been precipitating may also have culminated in a decision to strike out on a whole new path and try for a whole new career. The stage is set for a new beginning here. Tune in to what you really want Friday, and take steps next weekend towards a new destiny on the New Moon.

LEO: More emphasis comes into your professional arena this week and you may find yourself quite busy over the rest of the month with conversations, projects or negotiations surrounding your career. Discussions may become a bit contentious Thursday, so do carefully consider your words before you speak. It’s also possible an agreement or arrangement stalls and needs to be modified in someway before you can move forward. A love affair may conflict with your affiliations in a peer group or an association mid week. You may use what is uncovered here to consider to what and to whom you chose to be bound to. Venus in Gemini amplifies a desire to connect socially, and there will be many positive opportunities over the upcoming week to seek and find pleasure through group events and occasions. This road bump may prove divisive to a forming love relationship, as you may choose the approval of others over your own need for steady cultivation of self expression or with someone for whom you feel affection. If this pisses you off somehow, use that feeling to determine what is right for you and set some boundaries with the people involved. Mars continues in your 10th house of fame, profession and honors and you seek the limelight of success. You experience a brilliant serendipity on Sunday through a private exchange that enhances or reinforces your desires in this realm. There may also be a sense of inspiration towards the appropriate path to find the recognition you seek. A very exciting opportunity may come your way Friday, you won’t be able to contain your excitement! Meanwhile, the pressure and intensity you have been experiencing in your work life may dissipate as Pluto retrogrades through September. The New Moon Saturday is divine for connecting with the sacred within you and finding a new boundary to cross on the route to self awareness and discovery. A sense of the magical and divine opens to you, and you likely feel both powerful and resolved.

VIRGO: Professionally you are ready to take on an exciting new role, this is an area of import for the next several months. Venus gliding through this part of the chart suggests this is a good time to pave the road with positive intentions as well as team build and cultivate positive associations that will help guide your passage. With Sun, Mars and a 10 week visit from Mercury due, there is a long-lasting emphasis on profession moving right into Summer you need to prepare for! Doing so now will aid you in success in the long run. You can use the positive energy on hand now to really tune into what you want. Wednesday is a bit of a challenge for all this, as you’ll be torn between domestic responsibilities and perhaps forced to choose between, say, an important networking event or familial commitments. This brings awareness to a shift you are going to have to make if you want to pursue the goals and aspirations you hold dear. There can be a painful episode where you may realize something is passing away in your life, or must be surrendered. This is a normal process in your evolution right now, tune into it and just let go. Pluto retrograde will take some of the pointed intensity out of a love affair or the relationship connected to your child or children. Meanwhile you continue to seek to broaden your mind, and there can be a very pleasurable and stimulating excursion, possibly with a  partner on Sunday. A more contentious vibration is due on Friday, where your privacy may feel violated and there is the potential for danger if you are traveling. Good news arrives towards at the end of the week regarding a grant, loan or a partners income. After months of volatility, you are ready for this one!

LIBRA: Mid week will be a bit of a challenge for you, and after a cathartic and dramatic period you are ready for reprieve! Ideas and beliefs can be at the crux of a conflict this week, and you may discover that coming to a mutual agreement with someone is next to impossible, which can be deflating. Things get easier as Venus transits Gemini, enhancing your charisma and affectionate nature, while putting you at ease with yourself. You will take enjoyment from cultural activities and engaging higher intellect through meeting people or through encountering those from other cultures. You will also be effective at promoting yourself in this phase. Better aspects upcoming will generate a very positive climate. You are tapped into the spiritual arena at the beginning of the week, as Mars – Neptune infuse you with creative awareness into the secrets of your own subconscious, perhaps through a deeply intimate encounter. This may have a positive effect on your health and productivity, or you may find a stream of revenue attached to your creative potential. Towards the end of the week, you may clash with a partner over social activities that seem to pull you away from the relationship somehow. There may also be a crisis in regard to finances, though this can be effectively dealt with by the beginning of next week. Mercury through Taurus gives you the words to articulate your desires for intimacy, allowing an important conversation in a love (or perhaps business alliance) through which you can express your deepest longings and desires. These have been stimulated by Venus and Mars recently, and by the time the Sun arrives to this area next week you will be able to pull the connection you seek with another towards you. All the changes you have gone through over the last month, particularly those in relation to your identity and the transformation of your ideals for a relationship as a result, come to crystallization of a whole new brilliant beginning during the New Moon on Saturday. Someone significant may (or may have recently) be entering your life, and there is propitious energy and the stage set to engage emerging partnerships wholeheartedly now.

SCORPIO: Partnerships continue to be emphasized, with a romantic relationship featured beautifully on Sunday and a pivotal business association in frame towards the end of the week. You can deepen a bond with the one you love on the 12th, really harmonious exchange taps right into your romantic desires and you find it easy to express your affection to the one you care for. Mercury in Taurus from Tuesday forward sees a great deal of connectivity and exchange in this relationship, and this is a good time to negotiate with business parters and to sign contracts. Venus in Gemini stimulates erotic and passionate intensity, you’ll likely desire to make a more significant commitment in a love relationship over the next few months as this area of your chart sees numerous transits. This is a good period to attend to joint financial matters, and if you are seeking capital from outside sources this is a favorable time over all. You may see challenges within a financial arrangement midweek, or come up short as bills become due. Assessment of the conditions of your earnings require appraisal and adjustment, though more flowing aspects through the rest of the month will help you generate more lucrative streams of revenue. For now it’s worthwhile to cut out what you can and address outstanding debt where possible. The New Moon next weekend points to a new role on the job, or changes at work that will enhance productivity. New people may arrive to your workplace, offering fresh energy and ideas that prove revitalizing to your team. This is precipitated by encountering (or seeking out) a very dynamic person who may seek to help you expand professionally. Events on Friday enhance your tendency toward ambitious enterprises, and a partner may have helpful ideas, if you are willing to hear them out! You’ll desire to take on a lot, stay focused and use the energy of the New Moon as it will assist you to manage your time and resources effectively.

SAGITTARIUS: With Venus transiting Gemini, you continue to put out positive energy that draws people to you. Your light is on, so to speak, and you can magnetize a mate or use this energy to develop and cultivate a more loving connection with someone you already care for. Wednesday could prove a bit more challenging for you, however, as your monastic tendencies as of late may have a debilitating effect on your ability to openly share your affection. You can use the triggers and cues you get around this time to see where you might be self sabotaging your own real need to find a meaningful connection to someone. Maybe you don’t desire a relationship right now? This is perfectly fine, though the universe seems to be suggesting that you are sending out signals that say you are, and events over the coming weeks (and months) may fling someone into your orbit, whether you believe you are ready or not. Mercury comes in to assist you with your workload this week, and this is a good time to find efficient methods and work on time management issues. There will likely be a good deal of communication at the workplace, expect a brisk pace on the job. Someone at the “office” (or your equivalent, since we don’t all work in offices, after all,) may really piss you off Thursday as a critical matter, perhaps an oversight impacts you rather personally. This can be an effective time to form a new strategy if things aren’t going smoothly. An episode Friday can lead to excess, wither you are celebrating a victory with your colleagues, or a disruptive event triggers a disagreement, expect a highly stimulated environment! Next Saturdays’ New Moon is a very personal beginning for you, and a creative or self expressive matter, even a new love affair can precipitate quickly where you may not have even been considering such a development. The more disruptive influences in this area are quieting down now and what was stimulated within you over the last two months can now take form and truly start now.

CAPRICORN: There are marked differences in the energy fields as compared to last week, one major feature will be the prominent renewal of your professional and work objectives. These were likely stimulated by the recent Libra eclipse, (April 4th) now with Venus in Gemini and your house of productivity, assignments and work, you start to feel the impetus to take some initiative pointing you towards success in your chosen career. Venus really improves the working conditions, as well as relationships with colleagues. Venus is the natural ruler of your house of fame, recognition and honor, so this is a favorable influence for doing or finding work that leads to a promotion or is otherwise connected to your professional aspirations. With Venus you get assistance from others or even financial help, perhaps a raise is on queue. (Look to really auspicious events that arise between the 22nd and 24th of the month, when Venus harmonizes the degree of the eclipse among other very favorable aspects to make important meetings or plan important initiatives!) It’s a bumpy start as a mid week Venus – Saturn opposition can swiftly remove the wind from your sails. It seems you have to prove yourself to someone to claim your prize or get your worth. Saturn reveals it’s prickly nature if someone calls you out especially, as it’s transiting an area of debilitation and potentially stirs feelings that call into question your own sense of personal value, making you quite vulnerable to such criticism. Rather than withdraw or retreat, try instead to regroup! No one is perfect, and just because your life is a work in progress does not mean you aren’t prepared to take on something new! Passion may dwindle somewhat through September, but so too will some of that life changing intensity! Absorb what you have been through so far and live the changes you have made since last Fall. Erotic intensity is still running high – you can communicate your hearts desire to the one you love early in the week, as Friday sees the currents of desire running at a high voltage and you seek an intensely intimate experience. Don’t bite off more than you can chew, Cap. Literally! The New Moon Saturday signals a significant development in your domestic life – possibly a change in residence you have sought to make for a really long time and stimulated immensely by events over these prior weeks.

AQUARIUS: Domestic concerns are still paramount, with interesting developments Sunday and Friday, though the more exciting news this week lies in the transit of Venus through Gemini, the area of your chart that corresponds with pleasure, self expression, creativity and true romance. With this area lit up so beautifully for the next four weeks, it might just be that all else takes back seat while you enjoy one of the more favorable periods of the year, no? This all gets off to a bumpy start this week, when Venus and Saturn aspect stressfully Wednesday. An obstacle associated with your profession or a social group or organization may interfere with personal objectives in a disheartening episode. Worry not! Things get much improved next week, and it’s important to enjoy this transit as much as possible. From the 30th you are going to have a 10 week tour-de-force in this area, featuring a Gemini lineup including the Sun, Mars and a lengthy visit of Mercury (due to upcoming retrograde), so enjoy the loverly Venus vibration while you can before things intensify! The domestic realm is of continued emphasis, and Mercury from Taurus, for a scant two weeks, allows you to speak with living mates or negotiate a lease to make improvements in your situation. You may just have an influx of visitors, or be seeking a new roommate, in some way the home is the scene for a lot of activity from Tuesday. Querulous developments set off at the end of the week can see you in a dispute with a partner. There could be disagreement about the arrangements of your relationship associated with your household. The ambience will be robust, but potentially very exciting and offer a needed breakthrough! The Aries New Moon allows a new social chapter, very much influenced by the strong energies and awareness that were stimulated in this prior phase and signaling new, creative opportunities for you to engage with like minded people.

PISCES: The strong values and earnings emphasis of the last few months culminates this week in the Aries New Moon next Saturday. The hunches and inspirations that have sent electrical currents through your earnings sector led you somewhere completely new in relation to your income, now you can make a move that is going to allow you to completely alter how you make money or form a new strategy as to how you’ll spend it. Sunday is your best for the week, as a Mars – Neptune sextile stimulates your innate sense of wonder and magic. Your social life is very vibrant in this phase, and this will be highlighted by the passage of Mercury from Tuesday. Numerous events, meetings and parties will keep the pace brisk through Spring. Meanwhile you’ll also see a shifting emphasis towards the home life as Venus transits Gemini over the next few weeks. This is an area that is going to be a huge topic for you over the next 2 – 3 months, and you may want to use this positive period during the Venus transit to make residential reforms and enhance the domestic environment with decor or a spring cleaning. Professional commitments may throw you for a loop midweek as Venus tangles with Saturn, you may have to curtail improvements you want to make at home in order to meet your obligations. The Moon in your sign at this time will keep you in tune with what you really want and you can go from there. Thursday also sends some contentious signals regarding the profession, a contract or agreement regarding a promotion may need to be renegotiated. Friday will see some interesting developments on the job, there can be a vibrant energy surrounding the work environment, and perhaps a huge breakthrough, but a lot of big personalities at the work space and potentially some disagreements. Arm yourself!
